NURSING FOR TINY HUMANS LLC

     Nursing for Tiny Humans LLC

I am neonatal intensive care nurse with a B.S.N. and certification in the extremely low birth weight infant. I have specialized in this field for 16 years, and have been a preceptor for 14 years. Nursing at the highest level for me has always meant caring for the most vulnerable and most delicate of patients. My desire and passion to further impact the future of neonatal care and increase the success of the new nurse transition in to this specialty led to the creation of this mentoring program. This program is designed to help bridge the gap between the novice nurse and expert nurse in core skills. NICU nursing is a field that is growing and continually changing in its nature, but advocating for the neonatal population and their families is the constant in a world where technology and advancement drive constant change. If the new nurse graduate is successful in their transition to the nursing field of neonatal intensive care, then our future generations will reap the benefit of that success.
